ASCII Art
Our Studio has been forging our aliens transmissions in the form of ASCII art. ASCII art itself has a cult-like following, for very good reason. The widespread use of ASCII art to the late 1970s and early 1980s. The limitations of the computers of that period required the use of text characters to represent images. ASCII art began to appear in the underground online art groups of the period. An ASCII comic is a form of webcomic that uses ASCII text to create images. Instead of images in a common comic, ASCII art is used, with the text or dialogue usually placed below. ASCII art continued to survive through MUDs online, an acronym for "Multi-User Dungeon", (which are textual MMORPG games), Internet Relay Chat, email, message boards, and other forms of online communication that commonly employ the required fixed width. Now alien transmissions will be added to that list of communications.
